COMMON YOGA PROTOCOL

India released protocol for yoga day 2016. Please join yoga day in Bangkok on 26 June.

In 2015 the Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India made a film on Common Yoga Protocol to serve as an introductory guide to practicing Yoga. It contained, inter alia, general guidelines to be followed before, during and after the practice of Yoga and an explanation of the most widely practiced yoga poses and asanas. It was used by thousands of people across the world as a basic guide for the 1st International Day of Yoga.

The Common Yoga Protocol for IDY 2016 is an updated film made jointly by the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY) and Ministry of AYUSH and includes more yoga techniques which have been added in consultation with leading Yoga experts and heads of eminent Yoga Institutions in India. This film will be a useful resource for the International Day of Yoga.
